Strike Lake
Strike Lake is located in Manning Provincial Park. The Strike Lake campground sits beyond the end of the lake. The campground has a pit toilet, bear cache, fire pits, and several sites. Recently, there are new wooden tent platforms for each site. The campground is nestled in a shaded area among the trees. While water is readily available in the early season, it dries out by the fall. On our trip, we walked back to Strike Lake to get water. The Hike Beginning at Birch Bay Park


Snow Camp and Lone Goat Mountains, Camp Mowich and Hozameen Ridge
Snow Camp mountain and Lone Goat mountain are located in Manning Provincial Park. Camp Mowich offers camp sites, outhouse, and a bear cache. Availability of water is seasonal; you may want to check recent trip reports. From Camp Mowich, Hozameen Ridge trail leads to Hozomeen Mountain with its twin summits. The Hike Beginning at the parking lot for Strawberry Flats, I hiked along the Skyline trail toward Snow Camp Mountain. The trail is well-established and very easy to follow


Lake of the Woods and Rim Trail
Lake of the Woods and the Rim trail are located in Cathedral Provincial Park. The park is an expanse of mountain peaks, lakes, and alpine meadows. Nestled between the thick forests of the Cascade Mountains and dry environment of the Okanagan Valley, the park offers a diversity of plants, animals and mountainous terrain. Poland Lake
Poland Lake is an easy day hike on a well-established trail through pine forest in Manning Provincial Park. Poland Lake offers peaceful camping and opportunities for fishing. The campsites are nearby the lake. They have access to a bear cache, fire pits, outhouse, and a small shelter. Poland Lake is an ideal overnight trip in the shoulder seasons. Mount Outram
Mount Outram is a prominent 2,461 metre mountain located Manning Park in the Canadian Cascades of southwestern British Columbia. The Hike The hike up Mount Outram begins near the western gate for Manning Park. The is well maintained and easy to follow. Along the way, there is a sign sharing history about part of the trail. While the trail is easy to follow, the hike is nearly 20km with 1820 metres of elevation gain. However, in my experience, it never feels particularly steep
